Oh, blog - I didn't even realize I missed you!

I've recently been inspired to get back to blogging, however sporadic it is. I was reading a friends' blog and remembered how fun it is to hash things out in writing. I've been journaling more over the last couple years, but my journal is for private thoughts. Why stop there when there are so many thoughts that can be shared?

In general, I'm feeling pretty amazing right now and have so much goodness going on!

  • Back in school (two summer sessions)
  • Burning Man in August
  • Just went to Yosemite w/my housemates
  • Had an amazing Sacramento weekend last weekend (Mom's 60th, Baca family reunion, RT peeps, friends)
  • Quit smoking
  • Doing lots of yoga w/Steph

= Feeling strong, confident, bright and shiny!

On that note, my friend Dalano recently shared this quote with me, so I will leave you with it:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

- Marianne Williamson, "A Return to Love"

Wow - that is the Truth! Feel it!
